Hi! My name is Exsenet (x-senate), I'm a travel influencer and blogger based in Los Angeles, California. The first time I flew on a plane was in 2013 to visit my family in El Salvador. As a first-generation Latina, travel was always a luxury. I used to feel guilty for traveling outside of visiting family, but I learned to let go of that guilt by recognizing that travel is a privilege that I'm fortunate enough to experience. I should travel not only because I can but for those who can't and to show people how it's possible.
In 2019, I traveled Europe for two weeks. I quickly fell in love with discovering new cities and cultures. Since then I've learned how to budget, find cheap thrills, and plan trips with less stress. In 2020, a new dream was born; to visit all the countries in the world and to teach people how to travel smarter along the way. This is how I'm doing that.
My travel style has become slow, authentic and adventurous. I like to highlight the not so fun parts just as much as the glamourous parts, I want people to see everything that goes into traveling so they can be better prepared for any trip. I love experiencing the local and natural wonders of the world. Each trip is never complete without delicious food, unforgettable excursions, and a comfortable place to stay.
